Benedict explained that while younger people may easily spend money on dates, gifts and spontaneous outings, growing responsibilities such as rent, family obligations and future plans can change how they manage their finances.
“The more bills you pay, the less romantic you become,” he said.
According to him, the statement does not mean people stop loving their partners, but rather that responsibility can change their priorities and mindset.
